One of Akon's boyz got robbed at gunpoint and had almost 2 G'Z taxed from him! Suge Knight was up to no good. Akon and Suge Knight got a serious beef. Honestly though Suge, get over yourself! Stop being so GREEEEEEEEEEEEDY you facking S.O.B! Don't try to threaten people in the music industry who are makin' more than you? The former Death Row CEO threatened Vanilla Ice when he was at the top of his faded career with ICE ICE BABY. Rob AKA Vanilla Ice admitted that he was hung over a balcony by Suge, and told him to hand over A LOT of money he was making.........that's funny but shet son......BULLYING is NOT the answer! This was not the first time Suge got SHOOK up. Hommie, you lost your credibility!

Even though Akon lied about being arrested and in jail, I'm on his side I guess for this one. Home boys cew had COURAGE to box Suge as seen in the picture! BUT in ALL seriousness, VIOLENCE people is NOT the ANSWER!

The City of Toronto is ASKING for volunteers who are willing to pose as homeless people to do some kind of survey about the homeless people in T.O! Honestly, WTF r u people thinking? What are you trying to prove?! Why don't you take the money your facking shamelessly WASTEing and ACTUALLY use it to help stop homlessness by providing food or a safe cozy high class place to stay?!!!!!!!!! FACKING IDIOTS! The homeless people are also NOT happy with these impersonating decoys! They don't think it's a smart way to put the money to good use. Like seriously!

M.I.A Baby newzzzzzzzzzzzz

M.I.A is a dumbass on this one, not hating girl but who in their right mind names their kid IKHYD?!!!!!!! Like you can't even shorten the name to make it cook cuz it'll end up being IKH! POor kid is gonna get picked on unless he tells everyone that his moms M.I.A........the bullies either A. Don't give a fack and continue to beat him up or B. Hang out with the kid and use his spoilt self for what he's worth.

I have a feeling when Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman grows up, he's gonna slam Apple just cuz they have their awkward names in common.

Canadian Music WEEK

Last week was Canadian Music Weeeeeeeeeeeeeek! It was a great week to appreciate Canadian music and for Canadian talents to showcase their muzac and ish! One of the greatest radio stations Chum FM, hosted their second annual Fan Fest concert in honour of CMW. It was the 2nd annual Fan Fest. Chum FM knows how to host a partYYYY! There was free drinks for the fans and unlimited food like, sushi, burgers and fries, salmon on bread, chicken and chicken balls with honey inside and loads more!

The first performer and artist to come out was Karl Wolf who only sang one song and probably only hit AND not even original sound, AFRICA.

Other performers included my new fave girl LIGHTS! Lights lit up the stage as she sang her first hit Drive My Soul and a song she wrote in February cleverly titled Febuary AIR. She also sang songs coming out on her new album which is set to be released in the fall. She is so cute and tiny and polite........love her! What do Light and I have in common? As seen in the picture we both clearly like showing our bras.(lol not really)

Katy Perry who confirmed she's not Canadian but loves Canada, came out in her bangs bob air cute and hot shoes and sang most of her hits like Hot and Cold, Thinking of You and of course I kissed A Girl. Katy asked an audience fan if she wore her cherry chapstick and the girl said no. So Katy brought out a HUGE blow up cherry Lipstick and told some girls to KISS IT! HAAHHA........everyone was looking forward to Katy to kiss a Girl but I don't think she did. Another performer was the soulstress DIVINE BROWN......not her real name.............Divine showed her new music which sounded a lot ol' school 50' and 60's inspired blues, jazz r & b and rock and roll flavour. Divine sang her songs like Old Skool Love, Lay it on the Line and my favourite SUNGLASSES minus Nelly Furtado. I obviously had to dance around rockin' my sunglasses at nigh!

Other not so memorable but good acts included a few Canadian Idolers such as Eva Avila and some other Candian Idol girl who I forget but she was aight. More not memorable acts included Serena Ryder known for her song, weak in the knees. At ONLY 15!, SHILOU not TOMKATS kid, performed her song OPERATOR. She has a lil rock and roll ska punk old school no doubt flavour not obviously as GREAT as no doubt but the sound of music.

Bands included Chicago's Plain White T's. The ain't Canadian but oh well. They did their thing and sang their hit Hey THERE DELILAH.

However, the band most anticipated for the night was none other than OLP if you are musically deprived that stands for one of the greatest rock band in Canadian history, OUR LADY PEACE!

Even though Rain Maida had the flu, he said the fan's made him feel better. They are so awesome LIVE! OLP performed their greatest hits such as CLUMSY, SOMEWHERE OUT THERE and MORE. The fans wanted and encore but sadly they didn't come out again......eeeeeeeeesh.

I spotted My girl and last year's performer, the beautiful Elise Estrada with some of her entourage I love them. They are so cool. They kept asking me where I was going after to party? Guess they don't know where to party in T.O. Some guy thought I was famous so he took a pic of Elise and I. Who knows where that pic is now. Also, stay tuned for Elise Estrada's new video POISON from her new album cuz while Katy Perry was performing I KISSED A GIRL, her boy told me that even Elise kissed a girl in her new video. WOW Elise...experimenting r we? I ain't ever kissing no girl. I'll stick to kissing boys, thank you very much.

A special surrrrrrrrrrrrprise guest was GENE fukin' SIMMONS! Gene was in town for Canadian music week cuz he's starting his own label for Canadian artists. Let me tell you something, I asked Gene for a picture and his people were nice they let me have it with him......he's not egotistical AT ALL. Nevertheless, I did not want to be kicked out so I left after my picture was taken even though no one told me to leave. I was chillin and walkin around and noticed that Gene Simmons was STILL hanging out in the V.I.P section.............sooooooooooooo............I just walked by him not even to talk to him I wanted to see who else was chillin in the V.I.P section I was walking by Gene Simmons...........rock star grabbed my hand, was trying to talk to him and I didn't wanna be rude.I was just shocked he grabbed MY HAND............so I was like 'you enjoying the show?' You having a great time?' He's like 'yah'. He seemed to wanna talk some more and than..........wait.............never KISS and tell hehehehhehhee

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!!!!!!!!

SLUMDOG SWEEPS AT THE OSCARS!!!

Last night was more like South Asian night when SLUMDOG MILLIONARE Dominated the 81st annual Academy Awards! It was empowering for all South Asians when Slumdog Millionare took home 8 awards of it's 10 nominations! BIG UPS to A.R Rahman who was up against himself as two of his hits in the movie were nominated and he won best original song for "Jai Ho". Rahman sang himself and put on an excellent performance with John Legend helping out and Barananatiam Indian dancers and drummers. A.R thanked our Dear God in TAMIL!!!!!!! BIG TINGS! We have to give big ups to T.O because Slumdog was headed straight to DVD until it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and gained raving reviews, which soon became to spread world wide! The children of S.M were star struck as they met their fave actors such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and got their autographs in their book. I don't really care about the other winners but they included; Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz? Sean Penn, who is not enemies with his pal Mickey Rooney who were competeing for the same award AND the late Heath Ledger for his role as JOKER. Heath's family accepted the award and said the Oscar was gonna be given to his daughter Matilda. Anyways, SLUMDOG MILLIONARE OWNED the night!!!!!!!

AFTER SHOW, PICK ME PLEASE!

On Friday Da 13th, ooooooooooooooooh........I had an audition for MTV's the After Show!!! It was a great group of people I went into the audition with. The audition was conducted by Meghan and Garrett. We chatted up on the latest entertainment dish and of course the BIG Chris Brown and Rhianna NEWS was brought to the table. My opinion on this is 'OH NO HE DIDN'T!' I can't stand why some males want think they are superior to females. No one has the right to assault woman! This is a serious issue and what century are we in?! Have we not moved away from violence against women?! Of course not. It is an ongoing battle that everyone needs education on. We also OBVIOUSLY talked about our interest in Whitney's new show The CITY, which airs on MTV. I said, I loved the City because it's shot in NYC and NYC reminds me of T.O. I am a CITY GIRL! I also like The City girl's fashion on the show. In addition, The City has more LIVE music than The Hills, courtesy of 'ROCK STAR', Jay. Why else do I love The CITY? They have a T.O. Boy on the show! DUNCAN! WOOT WOOT! So PLEASE PICK ME, MICHIE P to be on the AFTER SHOW! You know, I'll bring the flow and so much MORE! XOXO

GRAMMYS AND ASSAULT?

BIG UPS to my Tamil sister, Mathangi Arulpragasam better know to the world as, M.I.A! Why? It's not because she she DIDN'T win any awards for 2 of her song sat this years Grammy's! It's because mere hours after her dope performance with Lil Wayne, Jay Z and T.I for 'Swagga Like Us', she was delivery due and rushed to the hospital and gave birth to a baby BOY! Who needs a trophy when you can have your very own child?! The singer stated that her son and her are working on her 2010 your and gonna put out some mix tapes. LOL Hopefully, she will win an Oscar for her song Oh Saya with Rahman. Her track O Saya, featured in the film Slumdog Millionaire, is shortlisted for best original song at the Oscars.
The baby daddy is her fiancé, musician Benjamin Bronfman, a member of Canada's eminent business family!

And even more Gramy kinda news, if you've been living under a rock, than you might have missed the big CRAZY news about R&B singer 'beating' up his Barbados sensational sexy singer RIHANNA! Brown and RiRi were both nominated for awards and who were supposed to perform together, missed the award show after a serious incident involving an attack on Rihanna by Brown! No one REALLY knows what went down but we do know that Chris Brown maybe guilty since he DID in fact turn himself In! Chris Brown has lost a lot of fans and business deals after this incident. What really went down? Who knows? RiRi is healing her wounds and taking it E Z in Barbados with her fam and Brown is making a big mistake by HIDING! Just apologize already! No matter what, I have no tolerance for any Assault AGAINST WOMEN! I have no respect for men who hit women. Brown should have known better since his mama was a victim of domestic abuse! TSK TSK BAN CHRIS BROWN!

Farenheit says turn the Temperature UP!

My homeboy Farenheit was in T.O on Thursday, so I decided to meet up with him at the Yorkville hot spot lounge, One Eleven. Alongside Farenheit was Sean Paul's manager, Steve. When he told me he was Sean Paul's manager, I had to ask him the infamous question and before I could even ask him the question, he laughed and said, 'I know the question you're gonna ask me and so many people asked me that already!' Than he just forgot about answering my question so I was like to him, so if you knew what question I was gonna ask, what is it than? and he was liek 'You're gonna ask me aomething about Sean Paul and Beyonce'. I said, 'yah, so let me ask you, why wasn't Sean allowed to be beside Beyonce for their hit 'Baby Boy?' I thought it was because Jay Z was jealous or something BUT He said, 'it was a lot of politics with Beyonce's dad.' Steve almost or possibly got into a fist fight with Beyonce's dad. Yikes!

Anywhooooo, Farenheit is visiting Canada for a bit and doing some shows but not in T.O :(. However, he and Sean a Paul are doing a Valentines day performance in Montreal's Time Supper Club, where he will perform his 'HIT EM' single with S P. Hope to see you in Jamaica in the near future. F U

The annual F U awards took place on Thursday at the Sound Academy and boy was it fun! The show was hosted by J.D and Barry from Edge 102 and actor Jason Mewes. The party life took a toll on Jason, who is best known for his role as Jay in the Jay and Silent Bob movies and other film credits include Clerks 1 and 2 and Dogma. Mr. Mewes is on a clean road to sobriety as he has quit drinking and doing drugs. I'm so proud of him! Mewes told me that he just sticks to smoking cigarettes. It can be hard in the film and music industry to stay clean but with the right state of mind, anyone can have the will to do it. When Mewes announced to everyone at the F U award show that he quit smoking pot, he got a lot of boos and negative reactions but honestly, that took a lot of courage and strength! Big ups and respects to you boy! You're still cool! If you're reading this, which I know you might ;) holla anytime you're in T.O! Mewes is staying in T.O until Tuesday February 10th. His buddy Kevin Smith is in town on Sunday too. Kevin Smith will appear at Bloor Cinemas for a Kevin Smith movie marathon. It will cost ya 60 smackaroos to watch some classic Smith movies like MallRATS.

As for the F U awards? The show was punk and had a high NOT professional security! Some security bitch went through my purse without my permission! How RUDE! We also did an interview with the band Kingdoms, who was one of the acts and security treated the frontman like shit. Fuck, get some manners people! Some awards were handed out and bands like the Flatliners, Hostage Life and Andrew W. K, who gave an ever so pumped up show!

SLUMDOG MILLIONARE

SLUMDOG MILLIONARE is this years box office hit that is bound to get an Oscar or two at this years Academy Awards. The cast and director first heard of just 3 nominations but were shocked when they found out they scored 10 nominations! Not suprising since it has has already won four Golden Globe awards, one which included Best Picture AND WINNER of the Peoples Choice award at the Toronto International Film Festival!

First film new actors, Freida Pinto and Dev Patel star in a Hindi and English movie where, an educated yet slick slum boy who Patel plays makes it onto the Indian version of of 'Who Wants to be a Millionare', not to actually win money but to get the attention of his childhood love who was also raised in slums Latika, played by Pinto. Nevertheless, he ends up winning and suspicions arose that he cheated. So how did a slum boy know all the answers to the gameshow questions? Well, easy, he visited his rough childhood memories to seek the answers.

The movie also casts real life slum children who depict the corrupt life of sex trades, smuggling, and child poverty in India. The movie is filled with the empowering message of persistance and patience for love. The movie's hit music composer A.R Rahman is getting recognized for his music especially with his collaboration with my Tamil girl, M.I.A for the song 'OH SAYA'!
