The 2008 Manifesto Festival is back and it all starts this Wednesday with Shad and Hey Ocean performing at the MOD CLUB Theatre. On Thursday, there will be a Manifesto film festival, which will be screening a documentary at the ROM, followed by some karaoke @ Revival. On Friday, there will be an US & THEM Art ExhibitionUs & ThemArt Exhibition @ Well & Good Gallery. Saturday will be off the chane when Manifesto hits up my hood in Scarborough for a free show FROM BLOCK TO BLOCK, hosted by my boy BIG NORM and performances from local artists and BIG MON TRINITY KRIS MONOLITH LUU BREEZE BOONAA MOHAMMED TRAVIS A. BLACK MAN CAMOFLAUGE SICK SOUND SYNDROMETRE NICE RICHIE HENNESEY w/ SUFFERAH SESSIONSCHATTA NEM-S-ISS SET 22BADD DANCERS STOLEN FROM AFRICABIG BLAX! Not enough for you? Well than this FREE event will also have The Battle of the Barbers - The Hoop Factory Basketball Showcase- The T-OFF T-shirt Fashion Show- Live Graffiti & B-boying- Southside Muay Thai Demos - Mobilizer Skate Park.
