SPOTTED: Degrassi Ol' school twin!

For those of you who watched Degrassi the hit Canadian show from the beginning, than you might remember twins Heather and Erica the sisters from the original Degrassi cast! I work in a school and on my first day there I was looking for a microwave to heat up my lunch. I was completely lost as to where the staff lunch room was. When I went into one of the classes to ask a teacher I noticed it was none other than one of the twins from Degrassi! It was Maureen Deicheach, who played Heather Farrell and was more of the shy reserved type compared to her sister Angela Deicheach who played Erica Farrell who was the wild child on the show. In a coincidence both sisters are now teachers in different schools in Toronto. Maureen actually works at a school near Degrassi Street and she is super nice! The girls did  briefly appear with some of the original cast members when Degrassi the Next Generation first premiered. Hopefully, she and her sister will make an appearance on a future episode of Degrassi. As for now, they are too busy educating kids.
