On Thursday July 10th, Molson Amphitheatre blazed it up with a crazy show with a lineup of Kardinal Offishal, Akon, Wyclef Jean and our new friend SEAN DA PAUL! Sean Paul heated the roof with his temperature. We were dancing the whole time! Who sits down for this kind of show? Sean performed his smokin'g hits such as, Gimme Da Light, I'm Still in Love With You Boy, Ever Blazing, Breakout Never Gonna be The Same and much MUCH MORE! I know my life will never be the same after the night I had. Sean Paul's video director Jay Will who is well known for Game Over videos, recognized my friend and I dancing and brought us backstage. BIG UPS JAY! We love you! After that, we ran into mega African rapper Akon who was the main act for the show. He was so sweet and fit that I couldn't stop admiring his pecks. He briefly talked to us about the incident that happened in Trinidad with the young girl issue he brought up on stage so sadly, he couldn't bring us up to dance with him. He told me that he loves coming back to Toronto because the people are nice. We also watched Wyclefs performance together. Akon was lovin it! Akon and Kardy also performed their 'Dangerous' hit that night. After, Jay took us upstairs to Sean Paul's private party where he treated us like royalty. There, we met Sean Paul's brother, Jigzagula and his best friend and Jamaican artist, Fahrenheit. Everyone was really friendly and nice. We than, moved the party to a hotel party in T.O. We were chilling with Jay, helped him pick out an outfit for the night and cracked some jokes. Than we had to help Fahrenheit pick out his outfit for clubbing. Fahrenheit was down to earth and showed us a preview of his next single with Sean Paul, which is not out yet called Hit Em UP. The song and video are hot! It features and underground boxing scene with female boxers. Hit em to the left hit em to the left YAH. Hit em to the right hit em to the right YAHHHHHHH! After some pre partying, we met up with Sean Paul in the lobby and rolled up to Circa nightclub in SUV'S! It was BAD ASS! Upon reaching Circa, we went straight to a balcony where the club heads were there to see Sean Paul. I was dancing up a storm next to him with bottles of Grey Goose and Belvadere POPPIN'. It was a great night that ended back at the hotel ice room with Fahrenheit ;) The next day, the boys did a show in Barrie. Thursday nights will never be the same again.
