YOUNITED IN THE HOOD

On Saturday June 28 in the hood of Kingston Galloway in SCARBOROUGH'S Heron Park......all the hommies came together for the 1ST ever 2008 YOUNITED NEIGHBOURHOODS FESTIVAL. The park festivity was sponsered by YOUTH CHALLENGE FUND and others such as, URBANOLOGY magazine, Toronto Youth Cabinet, United Way, George Brown college, Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough, Beatz to the Streets, ManifesTO, TCHC, STEPS and specifically SUNRISE for providing the free grub. The stage led many openings for local talent such as, tiny songstress Kayana, CanTYD, JUMA and especially 2 Badd who consists of 2 cute lil boyz who brought the attention of the whole crowd to the front of the stage and off their seats! It was also our boy BIG NORM'S BDAY who was one of the hosts of the show, so HAPPY BDAY B! All in all, rain or shine it was a good day.
