The 13th Annual Canadian Radio Music Awards
The 13th Annual Canadian Radio Music Awards took place during Canadian Music week with hosts Hosts Mad Dog & Billie.Performers included, Stereos, The New Cities and Midway State, Karl Wolf and many others. Soooooooo........word is that before Karl Wolf performed, he kinda dissed Stereos lead singer, Pat for using an auto-tune mic. The guys from STEREOS were like WTF? I guess they made peace just before posing for the picture above. What do you all think? Is using a mic with auto-tune legit or should it be considered part of the music as an instrument too? Any thoughts?
At the awards, they also premiered this awesome collaboration of Canadian All-Star singers for K'naan's 'Waving Flag' This video was made to help still homeless and hungry earthquake victims in Haiti. Check it out here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB7L1BIDELc&feature=player_embedded
Can you name all the Canadian artists? They did a great job placing J Bieber in the end of the song instead at the beginning like for the 'We are the World' 2.0 version.
P.S I Actually like Drake's lines in this song.

Legendary Canadian New Wave Glam Rock band, 'Platinum Blonde' were honored by being inducted into the Hall of Fame at Canadian Music Week. The multiple Juno winners were huge in the 80's and were considered the Canadian Duran Duran's. The once quintuple group are now a triple threat due to the 2008 death of member Kenny MacLean.
Kenny's brother Don MacLean (who's my new bff) told me Kenny was helping make the dreams come true for an aspiring band called, Day 2 Dejavu. Now, Don is taking over and promoting the band's demo disc. A future interview will obviously be here FIRST! In the meantime to listen to some classic Platinum Blonde somebody click somewhere http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMg2keerNHo
