It was the 21st Anniversary of the World Wildlife Fund's Annual CN Tower Climb. It was my first time doing this challenge and I knew I could do it because I love walking and climbing stairs as part of my exercise regime. I always wanted to do the CN Tower climb because not only am I going to help save our planet but I will be climbing the CN Tower, which is one of the things on my bucket list. Our team Lowered Expectations raised a lot of money thanks to the support of our friends, collegues and families who donated money and attended our fundraiser. In case you were wondering, yes, I did design and draw the posters above. I thought it would be easy to climb over 700 stairs but I never knew it was so challenging. There were many who quit halfway but I kept pushing because I am not a quitter. I climbed the CN Tower in 29. 05 minutes! I would like to add that it was harder for tall people to climb the stairs. Over 6,200 climbers stepped up to the planet and raised more than $1.1 million from the Team Challenge and Public Climb.
For those of you who have never climbed the CN Tower, do it for a great cause. The World Wildlife Fund is now accepting registrations for the 2012 CN Tower Climb. When you take part in the CN Tower Climb for WWF, you'll help them to continue preserving our living planet and protecting people, animals and our planet for now, and for future generations! So get together with your friends, family, colleagues or do it on your own and step it up! To learn more, visit http://wwf.ca/cntower/
