As a Crazy Mofo, I often get free swag and passes to events and screening. I was delighted when 20 Century Fox hooked me up with special screening passes to see the family fun movie ‘RIO’ in 3D. The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway , George Lopez, Jamie Foxx, Will I Am and more. It is about a tropical Macaw bird turned house pet who’s name is Blu. Blue gets snatched and ends up where he is eventually from in Brazil and meets some new friends along the way for an amazing self-reflecting journey.
Before the screening their wee Brazilian drumming, dancers and even Afonso Cardoso Consul-General of Brazil (Toronto) and Ambassador showed up to the special screening! The movie is now out in dvd and blue-ray so pick up your copy as a gift and watch it for the holidays. It's a fun movie for all ages! Check out the link to my favorite song from the movie!
