So a of couple nights ago, I go into a late night mexican dinner at Sneeky Dee's after chillin' with some Degrassi dudes and my friend tells me something and I was like 'huh?' My friend was like casually,"Look it's Lights.' I looked behind and it was Canadian singer Valerie Anne Poxleitner who legally changed her name to 'Lights'. At only 23, Lights is a Juno winner. I love her hits including February Air, Drive My Soul, Ice and Second Go. Lights is a total sweet heart and very talented. She recently caused some talk when she appeared on MTV reality show 'The City.' She lost all her luggage and her manager and CBC broadcaster,Jian Ghomeshi. Jian is friends with fashion publicist and straight forward, Kelly Cutrone. Kelly offered to hook Lights up with some clothes. Whitney Eve Port who is the star of the reality series wanted Lights to wear her clothes. However, Lights wasn't feeling Whit's fashion line because it wasn't really her style. Nevertheless, Lights did end up wearing one of Whitney's jacket. But, due to some television editing, MTV made it seem like Lights didn't want to wear Whitney's Jacket, wore it for only a few seconds than threw it on the floor. This made everyone perceive Lights as a bitch for not supporting Whitney's fashion line. Nevertheless, that was not the case. In this exclusive interview with Lights she explains that the show made her seem like someone she wasn't and she actually wore the jacket for a few songs. Remembering MJ Today

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of GREAT Michael Jackson! You will be missed for a LOOOOOOOONG time. Everybody Loves you all over the world, whether they hate to admit it. I hope this case with Dr. Conrad Murray gets solved soooooon.

T.O is exploding with cops and major security because the G20 summit which brings together 20 of the world great leaders together. This year, Toronto is hosting the summit at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. These BIG leaders will be discuss the world's economic crises and financial issues. There are nuff protestors too. The amount of security is insane due to fears of bombing or terrorist attacks. Check out the photo with Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty meeting President Barack Obama. SOOOOOOO LUCKY! Degrassi 2010 celebrates Season 10

Can you believe it? Degrassi The Next Generation is celebrating its 10th SEASON! Next month in July, Much Music will be airing brand new episodes of Degrassi with A LOT of new cast members 4 times a night! That is awesome because I am addicted to that show, which is HUGE in the States and gaining popularity in Canada! I know ironic since it is a Canadian show. It truly is a guilty pleasure. I have been watching the show since The original. Speaking of the original Degrassi, I got a chance to meet Stefan Brogren who played SNAKE and was in the ZIT REMEDY! It was the highlights of my life! lol

I have a dream and goal in life to accomplish. I want to guest star at least just once on an episode of Degrassi. It would be a dream come true if that happens. Please HELP make my dreams come true Degrassi producers and help me to check it off my list of things to accomplish!

This season is sure to be just as great as past seasons. There is gonna be new drama. Show themes include; partner violence, new love and good ol' teen fun. After 8 seasons, Shane Kippel who plays 'Spinner' will not be returning after a mutual agreement. Writers didn't know what to do with his character and he told me he was totally fine with it because they gave him a good 8 years. Instead, Jamie Johnston who plays Peter and who got reeeeeeeeally hot, will take over Spinner's job at the DOT. Aislinn Paul, who is known as Clare Bear on the show, got a HUGE makeover. She is such a sweet doll. Did you know Raymond Ablack who plays Sav and Paula Brancati who plays Jane are dating in real life? Sooooo.........only on the Crazy Mofoz Show can you get an exclusive insight on Season 10 of Degrassi. Wanna know about one of the episodes which is not in the preview of Season 10? Well, AJ Saudin who plays Connor gets sexually assaulted by an older female he met ONLINE! daaaang.......I guess no one ever told him when Emma or Darcy had bad experiences with meeting people on the internet.

Guyanese actress Melinda Shankar, who plays Sav's lil sister Allie, told me she is not leaving Degrassi. Thanks to her agent, she is able to balance Degrassi with her other YTV show, 'How to be Indie'. Oh and she totally lives on Yonge and Sheppard.

Also, a year ago or so, Drake or should I say AUBREY, stated to the media that Degrassi fired him and he was in shock. He stated that he went to the set and his name was taken off the dressing room or something. Apparently that is not true. Drake quit on his own and didn't wanna seem like he was a jerk in the media. A little too late for that if you ask me. Drake wasn't even hanging with his former Degrassi cast mates at the MMVA's. Shane did tell me that on the red carpet he shouted out his former cast member name on the red carpet and they hugged.

Soooooo........some of the degrassi member are in a band on the show. However, in real life some of the guys are ACTUALLY in a band and play instruments and all! Their band is called SoundSpeed and I hope to get an exclusive interview with them soon. The guys in the band include now former cast member Shane Kippel, Scott Paterson, Jamie Johnston, Sean Farquharson,Ray Ablack and Dalmar Abuzeid. The boys told me to get in the band you have to have BIG d*%!$ The rockers also told me they want to do an interview naked in a bed. Ummmmmm I dunno about the naked part but we can work something out :)

Kristen C does MTV

On Monday, Kristin Cavallari stopped by for a second time on MTV's The After Show with Dan and Jesse for The Hills final season. Kristin was in a T.O for a while because she was also a presenter at the Much Music Video Awards. I saw Kristen when she first got in the MTV front desk and she was polite and said 'HI' to me. Kristen dished about her fling Brody, her ex-Stephen Colletti and the crazy Spencer and Heidi 2.0. Dan and Jesse revealed that the season finale of The Hills will be in California. Congrats to Kristin on her nomination for a Teen Choice Award. She is going up against Lauren Conrad. K.C thinks she can win it. K.C is also dating Miguel who is a camera guy for The Hills. After The After Show, the audience member got the new Rimmel lip gloss. I am so glad I got the opportunity to be a part of one of the last The Hills After Shows. Great time! MMVA's 2010

The 2010 MMVA's were in full blast on June Sunday June 20th. This year was bigger but was it necessarily better? A lot of huge names came to this awards. There was as much security at the awards than the G20 summit because of JUSTIN f'n BIEBER! so ridick! This better be not happening every year with this kid. There were restrictions as to which rooms people could enter because no one could touch Bieber and risk getting the Bieber fever. That didn't stop the fans from catching the contagious Bieber because he not only won the most awards, he also performed. The fans not only got the Bieber fever, they caught the Miley Cyrus VIRUS! The Hannah Montana star was there co-hosting the show and really wants to show the world she is not so innocent by dressing up in skimmpy outfits. Also, WHY on earth would you perform that ridick song 'Party in the U.S.A' when your at a party in CANADA! IDIOT! AND .....y did she win an award for that STUPID SONG! Smiley, also brought her boyfriend and co-star in one of her movies Liam. We all know where they went for an after party :) Speaking of after parties, there were a lot of celebs who hit many of the clubs for numerous after MMVA's parties. Belly and Danny Fernandes, Perez Hilton, Stereos, Snookie and Pauly D all hosted club events that night.
So back to the awards, nuff people were there. I got to see more Canadians this year. The first celeb I spotted was Howie Mandel. He seemed reeeeeeeeeally weird. Maybe its because he is a GERMAFOBE! I caught up with Nathan Ferraro from the band The Midway State and he is sooo adorable. Degrassi kids were EVERYWHERE and boy do I love them!! All the new cast from season 10 were there. This was the first time they got to come to the MMVA's because Much Music plays episodes of Degrassi. Some more than others took advantage of the open bar as one of the cast members even spilled his drink on me. Nevertheless, I love those kids and they were jokes and down to earth. The new cast members were so shy and cute. The highlight was when I got to meet the original Degrassi star and ZITS member, SNAKE! soooo COOOL! Even my mom was proud! lol

MTV's Dan and Jesse were in the mix including other MTV peeps like Darren Jones and Nichole Holness. Jesse was so into watching Adam Lambert's performance that she was barely into our convo. She is either obsessed or could give two shits bout me.
Jacob Hoggard seems always in a rush and full of energy. Could it be that he has a blow habit? I was in fron of the bathrooms when I saw Jacob rush to the men's bathroom with the door open calling his buddies to come in with him! Makes one question hmmmmmmm Nevertheless, Hedley, who were award winners, put a great performance with their song 'Perfect'. I'm suprised Jacob stopped to chat when MTV's Aliya Jasmine hollered at him.
Let me tell you how Down Webster were a bunch of nobodies before. Than they think they are like totally famous and some of the members got HUGE egos. PFFFFFFFFT! I really don't know why these Canadians got egos. *cough* Drake and even J DIGGZ! Another annoying egotistical nobody is Danny Fernandes. Homeboy thinks he's all that. I just did an interview with hima few months ago and he acts like he doesn't even know me AND he interrupted my conversation with BELLY (who was soooooooo nice). Danny was saying how he really should say what;s up to his brother Shawn Desman who was downstairs. Simmer your egos down now. Atleast J Diggz gave me a hug but you could have talked to me buddy. Speaking of a BITCH......I am totoally not watching The Secret Life Of An American Teenager after actress Shailene Woodley who plays Amy on the show was with her co-stars, Daren Kagasoff and Megan Park. Betch totally flopped on a picture with me......wat ever. Like even Whitney Eve Port was more than happy to take a photo with me. She also has a sweet tooth because she grabbed some bubble gum in her hands. Another sweetheart who was making sure I got a great photo with her was my Scarborough gal, The Vampire Diaries and former Degrassi Star, Nina Dobrev. She is so sweeeeeet.
Stereos were also there and some of the guys brought their girlfriends. I got a chance to chat with Pat for a bit as we talked about one of the interviews I did with him. He totally doesn't remember some of the things he talked about in the interview. Like when he was rambling about going to a strip club with bandmate Robbie. Well, it seemed like Mr. newly wed Rob, forgot bout his wifey for a while because he was walking around and flirting with a pretty brunette for a while!

The drummer Aaron verdonk also brought his girlfriend who is BROWN and they were like so into each other!

Also with them was r & b singer Jhevon Paris. Jhevon and I chatted for a while and we are totally like bff's now. We talked about the world cup and even racism in our society. We also both agreed that it is ok if we mix business with pleasure lol
I'm gonna be following Jhevon around as he renovates a house and it will all be only here on the crazy mofoz show. Jhevon loves interior decorating. Who knew?!

Fito and I caught up and he is just traveling and working on new music and shooting his next single in MEXICO. Than came CP records artist, DY. He is really sweet and good looking and he raps on the single 'Passenger' with Danny Fernandes. I thought he would be cocky but he was chills.

I regretted not chatting more with Nathaniel Motte from the band 3oh!3. He is sooooooo tall and he also told me other member Sean Foreman was chillin' with fam in Nebraska!

Also in the mix and a lil tipsy is Canadian r&b singer and former In Essence. He is totally nice and can't stop laughing!


The socially awkward award of the night goes to former Leafs hockey player, Tie Domie. He is so awkward.

I asked fashion expert Jeanne Beker of Fashion Television, brought her daughter along, if she approved of my outfit and she said 'Hunny I love you!' Tres Chic!

My girl of the night was singer, Farahri. Luminato hits Toronto!

On Friday June 11, 2010, the art festival that is LUMINTO, hit the city of Toronto. The opening night was a free DIVA themed concert at Dundas Square. The crowd was packed to see 3 amazing Canadian Divas. E Talk's Traci Melchor, was the host of the night. I cheered on Traci and she thanked me backstage for supporting her. Traci Melchor is seriously amazing. She is humble and down to earth. We got the opportunity to go backstage. She chatted with the Diva writing girl's group and took a lot of pictures with us. Traci was giving the young Diva writing group advice to reach for your goals and to never give up on following your dreams. She chatted with the Diva writing girl's group I run and took a lot of pictures with us. Traci was telling us about her appearance on an Lizzy Mcguire episode but I swear she was on a Sabrina the Teenage Witch episode. She has twins and they are 5 years old now. She also told me how she pulled some of the red weave she was wearing to give to her friend Jully Black. Speaking of Jully Black, she tore up the stage with her powerful set. She sang most of the songs from her latest album, 'The Black Book.'

Jully Ann Inderia Gordon, known in the music scene as Jully Black grew up living in poverty by a single mother who raised 9 children. It is no secret that is she gets her strength and power and diva attitude as a woman from her mother. Amidst all the glitz, glamour and diva lifestyle, Jully always has a special place for her family. Jully dedicated her second successful Juno winning album, 'Revival' in memory of her late sister who encouraged her to become a singer.

So what makes Jully Black a Canadian Diva?

Jully tells her life story through her music and voice. Her confidence makes her a great role model for Canadian ethnic woman as she not only encourages a healthy body image, writes meaningful lyrics, displays personal style and of course has a soulful strong voice, she also represents Canada to the fullest.


The other Divas included; Juno award winner Sass Jordan who was also best know for her role as a Canadian idol judge. Sass had a few rocker friends come our to support her like former Our Lady Peace member Mike Turner and Jeff Burrow from the former Canadian rock band 'The Tea Party' who both are now in a band called, Crash Karma with rocker, Edwin. The crowd wasn't really feeling Sass's music. It was too loud and screeching for their taste. The only people who rocked out were the drunken audience members. Nevertheless, Sass rocked out with her band and belted her rocker sound.


The final act was West Indian background, former member of an R & B group 'X-Quisite'. Nichole Holeness of MTV was also in the group. Melanie is known as Kanye West's prodigy and was nominated for several BET awards, Juno and even a Grammy. I didn't have to time to watch her perform but I heard she was grrrrrrrrrrrreat.

When I was leaving my lil girls never got a chance to meet Jully and luckily for them, Ms. Black was just walking downtown, so I hollered at her and just like the name of one of her tracks, I was 'running' to meet up with her across the street with my girl's group.
Jully told me to keep up the work I am doing with the youth in the arts and music.
